I had some trouble uploading this menu to the web page … So I apologize for the delay in getting it up. It was an incredible dinner and Chef Thi really outdid himself again. For those of you that could not make it keep an eye on the wine list and some upcoming wine specials. These wines were so good it would be a crime not to share them!!
Spanish Wine Dinner Menu September 2011
For this dinner we really attempted to create an overall “Spanish Experience” that would be representative of the current climate of Spanish cuisine. We of course constructed a menu that played off the flavor pairings of the food and wine. Then we went a step further and created more sensual pairings. We played off the scents, textures, mood, and look of the dishes. The third course was so amazing in that the food not only highlighted the taste of the wine it added body to the wine that was not there without the food.
Suffice to say it was a lot of fun and we are looking forward to doing another Spanish dinner next year!!
